Playing with Dolls is Good for You, Part 2

Updated: Jun 18, 2019

Doll play can help develop a child's oral language skills.

-Parents can use a doll to help kid's learn parts of the body. "Point to the doll's nose. Now point to your nose. Where are dolly's eye?. Where are your eyes?"

-Dolls can help little ones learn prepositions. "Put the baby IN the bed. Baby is UNDER the covers. Take baby OUT of the stroller."

-Narrating his or her daily activities to a doll friend helps improve conversational and story telling skills.

So let's play with a doll today!
